After much wait for this device, it was finally launched today and the specs is just wow. This Phablet is automatically the successor to the former Huawei Honor 8 smartphone. The Note 8 is high-end phablet from Huawei with amazing features.
DisplayThe device comes with a much bigger "6.6 inches display size" at a resolution of 1440 x 2560 and cool pixel density at 443ppi which offers a much sharper display at any angle.
Processor & Storage
According to a reliable source , Huawei Honor Note 8 uses an octa-core CPU in a 4xCortex-A72 + 4xCortex-A53 configuration and a Mali-T880 MP4 GPU. It features a 4GB RAM and storage options are 32/64/128GB with 23/52/110GB left to the user, respectively.
Camera
Honor Note 8 packs a 13MP camera lens at the back with optical image stabilization and video recording at 1080p while it has 8MP front facing camera for selfies
SIM Slot
The device features a hybrid dual-SIM slot that can accommodate a few nanoSIM cards, or one nanoSIM and a microSD card - not our favorite solution. Unfortunately, only one of the SIM cards can use 4G/3G network as the second one is limited to only 2G network.
Battery and Platform
Huawei Honor Note 8 cones with a powerful "4,500mAh battery" inside and runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow straight from the box.
Price and Pre-ordering
Currently in China, the Honor Note 8 can be pre-ordered starting today, but the proper sales will start on August 9 and is "priced at $375". According to gsm arena, prices start at:
